DESCRIPTION:\nAs summer comes to an end, GC2 Church has an incredible opportunity to partner again with Pastor Silas, who’s organizing a back to school outreach at Colina Del Sol Park in City Heights (map here ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/poCQQq4gb8GNwDoi9 )).\nThere are three ways that you can be involved:\nVolunteer and Serve:\nIf you’d like to help serve during the event from 4pm-6:30pm, there will be opportunities such as:  help making popcorn, overseeing the bounce house to make sure kids are safe, organizing games, helping with clean up/tear down, and looking for opportunities to get into spiritual conversations. Even if you come for part of the time, you can help as needed and look for opportunities to engage with people.\nContact Gary Wu at: gcswu1@gmail.com ( mailto:gcswu1@gmail.com?subject=Outreach )\nPray:\nJoin with us this month praying for God to work in hearts during this outreach. City Heights is a very diverse community with people from all over the world. God has brought the nations to San Diego! So let’s ask God to bring about a harvest among the nations in our own backyard.\nDonate:\n\nGC2 Church will donate 72 school backpacks, each one full of helpful items that children and youth can use during the school year. We need you to bring school supplies for these bags! Many of these families have limited resources, so your donations will reflect the love of Christ to people in need.\nLast day to bring items: August 18th.\n
