DESCRIPTION:What is the Send Serve Tour?\nIn partnership with churches, the San Diego Baptist Association, the California Baptist Convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in San Diego. The plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help local revitalized churches and bless bi-vocational pastors by assisting.\nProject details:\nInterfaith Community Services Day, hosted in partnership with Bethel Baptist Church in Escondido, is focused on serving the community and providing opportunities for individuals in need. This day of service is designed to help those who may be experiencing hardship, offering them critical support, resources, and services. The event aims to meet immediate needs and improve the well-being of community members. Volunteers will serve the local community with Bethel Baptist Church through projects such as food distribution, mobile showers and hygiene kits, and clothing drive and distribution, as well as painting and organizing the break room for Interfaith Community Services.\nProject Date:\nSaturday, Feb 22nd,  8:30 am to 4pm. Volunteers will first meet at the project hub site for prayer and instructions about the project.: Anthem Church, 760 Sycamore Ave Suite C, Vista, CA 92083. \n \nIf possible, please join the Serve Tour Rally @ King’s Cross Church (4747 Soledad Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA 92109) at 5:00 pm on February 22, 2025. This will be a great time to connect and engage with other volunteers around you. It will be a celebration filled with food, shared stories, partnership opportunities, worship, and next-step resources.  This event will help you grasp the scope and big picture of the Serve Tour.
