Kids Ministry
GC2 Church's Children’s Ministry desires to help children grow in their understanding of God. We want to help kids discover a relationship with Jesus, and build excitement for being a part of the church as they grow up. To ensure the safety of all, we will keep up-to-date on any changes to state, county, and local health orders and will update our Children's Ministry status as needed.
Our Commitment to Parents
We will provide a Christian environment that promotes love and uses the Bible as a basis for teaching so that there is quality learning best suited to the age and developmental level of each child. We will maintain a clean, healthy and safe place for children to have fun, learn and play.
Our Approach
- We teach Scripture, not just moral truths, in a way that can be applied to young lives.
- We engage kids, not just pass on information.
- We use tools that are appropriate for this generation of learners.
- We help children WANT to come to church and bring their friends.
- We guide children to ask questions and get involved.
- We help kids from diverse cultures feel connected to the church and other kids at church.
- We encourage kids to serve and share their faith alongside their parents.
Youth Ministry
GC2 Church's youth ministry is for middle and high school students. It's a group that has fun while growing in relationship with Jesus and each other. We value transparency that leads to owning our faith. We realize that students are exploring or seeking what it means to have faith in God, so we want to create a safe place for them, wherever they are on the journey. We want to teach them that the Christian life is not about just managing our faults, but it’s a life-changing journey with Christ that will form their identity and shape their goals.
Local Outreach & Missions
At GC2 Church, we are committed and always prayerfully looking for ways to make an impact in our local community and also globally. We seek to partner with churches, organizations, and ministries that prioritize fulling the Great Commission in locations that are unreached and underserved. Our commitment is that at least 10% of all giving to the general fund is sent to ministries outside of GC2 Church.
At GC2 we’re excited to come alongside missionaries and ministries as the Holy Spirit leads us.

Growing in Community
You were created to experience your full life in Christ in community, alongside other believers. The Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:28 said it this way: “that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” This formation and maturity will never happen in isolation!
The picture of discipleship in the New Testament is that spiritual growth best happens as you learn to let your life be joined to others. This is why we encourage to join a small group where you can discuss and study Scripture, learn to listen and support others, and discover what it means to live out the “one another” exhortations by growing spiritually and relationally in community.
