Our Church's Vision
We aspire to develop greatness in people and in programs! Even more importantly, our aim is to glorify God and be fruitful followers of Christ Jesus in our local region. We invite you to be part of what God is doing at GC2 Church.
Small groups are where one finds community in a church. Our vision is for each small group to bless its members and be an open door for seekers and believers alike. In a GC2 small group, you will experience friendship, learning, and opportunities to participate. Small group programs at GC2 regularly include Bible study, prayer support, and casual fellowship. Many share meals and do projects together.
We act locally, but think globally. At GC2 we’re excited to come alongside missionaries and ministries as the Holy Spirit leads us. We are currently supporting:
- Jon Liu – Associate Director of Asian American Christian Fellowship
- Tim Chou – Navigators post-college ministry
- Henry & Wilma Tan – Campus Crusade for Christ International
- Sunshine Hacienda and San Felipe Mission – a Foster care home in San Felipe, Mexico. In addition to financial support, we have sent teams to serve semi-annually
- Tribes for Christ
- Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center
We want children to know how much God loves them, how precious they are to Him, and how they can love Him in return. So, our vision is to have children excited about coming to church, excited about Jesus, and happy to give their lives to Christ!
We’re working on making Sunday mornings the best morning for children! We would love the opportunity to invest in your child’s life, partner with parents, and help set the next generation towards a great future with Jesus Christ leading their way.
In our student ministry, we want to provide a place where middle and high school students can safely connect with one another while exploring more of who God is. Our ultimate goal is to create opportunities for students to experience God’s love and develop a personal, authentic, and active faith in Him. We believe that creating these opportunities will lead students to know Him, be inspired to love Him in return, and extend love toward others. By the time they graduate from high school and move forward into their next phase of life, we hope to see our students eager to pursue the purposes and dreams God has placed in their lives.
We want Sunday mornings and Friday evenings to be the best place for students to find a community that encourages them and motivates them to draw closer to God. We look forward to getting to know your family and partnering with your student in their pursuit of Jesus Christ.
